Our small family is passionate about fresh, wholesome food and feels deeply inspired to share the benefits of organic farming. We offer farm tours and educational programs that connect people with how their food is produced. We support and partner with other family farms in an effort to efficiently bring fresh, organic fruits and vegetables to our community.
THE FARM
Worthy Family Farms is a 36-year old, six-acre, organic, star fruit farm located in West Palm Beach Florida. The farm utilizes organic and regenerative farm practices that progressively enrich soils, improve watersheds, increase biodiversity and enhance ecosystem services. These natural principals allow us to produce healthy, abundant food that supports nature and the environment.
STAR FRUIT
Grade A Averrhoa Carambola, known as Star Fruit, is a low-calorie tropical fruit that packs a punch of nutrient goodness and offers a unique and refreshingly sweet/tart flavor. One piece of fruit provides 3 grams of fiber, half of your daily Vitamin C requirements and only 28 calories.
